SALE TIMEEEE :D

ohhhh how I love a good post-Christmas sale. Everyone takes part and it is the PERRRFECT time to get some winter clothes that us lucky people in sunny England can wear until around mid-July!
However, thanks to the sudden rush of Christmas money I'm feeling slightly miser-like. (I don't know why, but it seems that whenever I have quite a bit of money I'm really reluctant to spend any of it!) Which means I'm here to divulge the secrets of the best of the sales!

I have a dress really similar to this and wear it all the time... the style looks great with gladiator sandals in the summer or tights and heels in the winter and just some simple jewellery. This one from Desire Clothing has been reduced from £15.99 to £7.99!

My favourite sale of the season is the Asos one, such great bargains! This lace dress was £38, now £20! And I loooove the zip detail.

This necklace, also from Asos, has been reduced to £9! I really want a pearl necklace, and this one's really different.

The third of my Asos selections is this amazing sequin playsuit. Wear with a blazer, tights and shoeboots for a perfect New Year's Eve party outfit. And, it's been reduced by 50% from £50 to £25!

This Dorothy Perkins coat is AMAZING.... a great colour and gorgeous style. And it's been reduced by £40! Now £35.

Another great New Year's Eve dress... I am so in love with sequins at the moment! It costs £19.60 from £27.99.

Last but not least, a beautiful bag from Topshop... reduced from £22 to £10! It's a real statement bag, and it's worth the money even if you only use it once or twice.
After a day of sale shopping, I've firmly decided that the only way to combat the sales is over the internet. Please, take my advice and get clicking!
Oh, and happy new year :) xxx

yumi <3

the story about how I came across this such cute brand is a rather good one. I was in Crete when I saw this beautiful 50s style dress shining from a shop window. You have to understand, I wasn't exactly in the fashion central of Greece, most of the shops were really cute little touristy shops selling fans and natural sponges and stuff so I did an actual double-take when I saw this little shop. My mum and I investigated and the shop was like a Tardis: once I went in I realised it went waaaaaay back into the houses. Anyway, I looked around and all I could see was rows and rows of pretty dresses.... it was heaven! So unfortunately they were too expensive so I went back to the UK dressless, but I remembered the name, and googled it and WOW it's brilliant so now I get to show it to you lovely people :)
Can I just say, you have NO IDEA how hard it is to choose just a few examples of the clothes available to put on here, but I do try my best...

the only problem is the price: from top to bottom: £64.95, £64.95, £64.95, £69.95.
BUT here's the solution....

these two are in the sale and :O they're only £24.95, aren't I a genius?! :)
right, tara for now :D xx

We're off to see the wizard....

WOWIE look at the loveliness of Temporary:Secretary I have to say I probably have a weak spot for the Wizard of Oz; those beautiful ruby red slippers and the wonderfulness of Wicked.

My favourite is the Dorothy one, look at those cute little shoes :)
So today I went shopping. Well, when I say shopping I mean trying on clothes and lusting after them while trying to keep the Clothes Show in my head and today I was completely successful! I've taken some pictures of my favourite items on the Brighton high street :D

Ok, probably not helping with my lace obsession. This skirt is my new favourite item. It's from H&M and also has a slight tutu feel. Also the top is tres pretty, it's actually a dress but I thought this looked rather smashing as a combination.

Mmmmmm I'm not going to rest until I've bought a jumper dress and this one is soooo nice and I love the animal style. Here are the cons: this sizing is slightly wrong but that can be easily fixed, and it costs £48! :o I'm hoping there'll still be some left in time for the post-Christmas sales... And another thing, it is THE softest thing IN THE WORLD.

I am so happy to blog about this jumper because I now own it! Well, officially it's not mine until my birthday but that's really not very far away... £50 from Oasis but it was worth it. Ahhh it has angora wool and cashmere and it's SO PRETTY :D. For the record, I NEVER plan to layer it with that dress but it was the end of a long, long day and you get the idea :) I realise that the picture is AWFUL and so grainy, so I'm going to tell you that the red lips have sequins on as well. Oh it's perfect!

alsooooo I thought I'd blog about my lovely friend Daniella with the beautiful pink crochet jumper (see previous post). She's wearing a gorgeous little necklace from H&M and a plain scarf from Primark, as well as the Topshop jumper.

Oh yeah and my new gloves arrived and I am quite pleased with them. I have to say they look awful with this outfit but I think they'll look great with my coat.

Argh, Strictly's started now. Speak again soooooon. :) xxx

lace= YUM

Such a new obsession. Love the way anything lacey feels all vintage and pretty. Not much more I can say without getting hideously overexcited like usually :)

OOOOH it has pretty little pearls on toooo how exciting :D oh right, it's from Topshop

Lace cardigan from H&M. Ok, the fact that I'm using H&M shows such dedication to my blog. As some of you will know, H&M has no English online site so I had to struggle through the German site to find this for you beautiful people. You better appreciate it.

My friend has just bought this looooovely jumper from Topshop. I'm rather jealous.

Okay, AMAZING dress from Rokit. 'nuff said.

I saw these shoes in Grazia and now I feel like my life won't be complete again until I own these. Just look at them!

Well you can't really see the lace part in this picture but each little ruffle of the skirt has a delicate lace trim. As this is vintage I'm presuming it was supposed to be worn under clothes, but what's the point of owning something this pretty and no one seeing?!?!

Ok I'm off to spend all my money saved for the Clothes Show, bye xxx
