MY CHRISTMAS LIST

As it's now the 1st of December I think I should officially write out my christmas list... well some of it anyway, I can't even keep track of all the things I want myself!
1) New schoolbag: My one is literally in tatters now, loooooving this one from Yumi but I'll see what treasures the Clothes Show brings :)

2) Miss Dior Cherie... any long term followers will already know about my love for this perfume and ad campaign :)
3) mmmmm my mouth's watering just thinking about it! This Cupcake Kit has been top of my list for a long, long time and I'm really hoping someone's got it for meeee :)

4) neeeeeed earrings, otherwise my ears are going to CLOSE UP. These ones are tres pretty, especially in blue (hint hint....)

5) I already have the red version of this Barry M nail glitter... A friend of mine came up with an idea: if I buy the green as well then I can create the ultimate Christmas look!

6) OKAYYYYY this list is getting a bit more unrealistic. Look at the beauty of this Karen Millen bag. I know, it's amazing is it not?
7) Ankle booties :) all I want for christmas is youuuuu. These ones are from Topshop and rather pricey but SOOO WORTH ITTTT
8) Mmmmm more Topshop stuff.... and how comfy does this thing look? And tres chic, even if I do say so myself :D

9) Lastly, TIGHTS. Right, I'll be brief because in reality there are hundreds of patterned tights that I want.

Right, now you all go off and buy it all for me ;) love you all xxx

yumi <3

the story about how I came across this such cute brand is a rather good one. I was in Crete when I saw this beautiful 50s style dress shining from a shop window. You have to understand, I wasn't exactly in the fashion central of Greece, most of the shops were really cute little touristy shops selling fans and natural sponges and stuff so I did an actual double-take when I saw this little shop. My mum and I investigated and the shop was like a Tardis: once I went in I realised it went waaaaaay back into the houses. Anyway, I looked around and all I could see was rows and rows of pretty dresses.... it was heaven! So unfortunately they were too expensive so I went back to the UK dressless, but I remembered the name, and googled it and WOW it's brilliant so now I get to show it to you lovely people :)
Can I just say, you have NO IDEA how hard it is to choose just a few examples of the clothes available to put on here, but I do try my best...

the only problem is the price: from top to bottom: £64.95, £64.95, £64.95, £69.95.
BUT here's the solution....

these two are in the sale and :O they're only £24.95, aren't I a genius?! :)
right, tara for now :D xx

We're off to see the wizard....

WOWIE look at the loveliness of Temporary:Secretary I have to say I probably have a weak spot for the Wizard of Oz; those beautiful ruby red slippers and the wonderfulness of Wicked.

My favourite is the Dorothy one, look at those cute little shoes :)
So today I went shopping. Well, when I say shopping I mean trying on clothes and lusting after them while trying to keep the Clothes Show in my head and today I was completely successful! I've taken some pictures of my favourite items on the Brighton high street :D

Ok, probably not helping with my lace obsession. This skirt is my new favourite item. It's from H&M and also has a slight tutu feel. Also the top is tres pretty, it's actually a dress but I thought this looked rather smashing as a combination.

Mmmmmm I'm not going to rest until I've bought a jumper dress and this one is soooo nice and I love the animal style. Here are the cons: this sizing is slightly wrong but that can be easily fixed, and it costs £48! :o I'm hoping there'll still be some left in time for the post-Christmas sales... And another thing, it is THE softest thing IN THE WORLD.

I am so happy to blog about this jumper because I now own it! Well, officially it's not mine until my birthday but that's really not very far away... £50 from Oasis but it was worth it. Ahhh it has angora wool and cashmere and it's SO PRETTY :D. For the record, I NEVER plan to layer it with that dress but it was the end of a long, long day and you get the idea :) I realise that the picture is AWFUL and so grainy, so I'm going to tell you that the red lips have sequins on as well. Oh it's perfect!

alsooooo I thought I'd blog about my lovely friend Daniella with the beautiful pink crochet jumper (see previous post). She's wearing a gorgeous little necklace from H&M and a plain scarf from Primark, as well as the Topshop jumper.

Oh yeah and my new gloves arrived and I am quite pleased with them. I have to say they look awful with this outfit but I think they'll look great with my coat.

Argh, Strictly's started now. Speak again soooooon. :) xxx

lace= YUM

Such a new obsession. Love the way anything lacey feels all vintage and pretty. Not much more I can say without getting hideously overexcited like usually :)

OOOOH it has pretty little pearls on toooo how exciting :D oh right, it's from Topshop

Lace cardigan from H&M. Ok, the fact that I'm using H&M shows such dedication to my blog. As some of you will know, H&M has no English online site so I had to struggle through the German site to find this for you beautiful people. You better appreciate it.

My friend has just bought this looooovely jumper from Topshop. I'm rather jealous.

Okay, AMAZING dress from Rokit. 'nuff said.

I saw these shoes in Grazia and now I feel like my life won't be complete again until I own these. Just look at them!

Well you can't really see the lace part in this picture but each little ruffle of the skirt has a delicate lace trim. As this is vintage I'm presuming it was supposed to be worn under clothes, but what's the point of owning something this pretty and no one seeing?!?!

Ok I'm off to spend all my money saved for the Clothes Show, bye xxx

urban outfitters--- WOW

Recently, I got an email from Urban Outfitters saying something about new men's shoes or something and I thought to myself "Hmmm, it's been rather a while since I looked at the new arrivals on Urban Outfitters" so I checked just now and OMIGOD there is some truly beautiful stuff on there! WOWIE when did this happen?!?! Here are just a few of my absolute favourite things on there, but seriously you guys should buy the whole shop.

First two items have the same pros and cons: Pro is the awesome (oh god, I have resorted to the worst awesome) French theme and con is the fact that I'm not a big fan of the simple design. But I can always make them into dresses by buying them in HUUUUGE sizes.

Look it has a poodle on it! How exciting :)

I am in actual love with these floral tights. I mean seriously, how good a quality do they look? And how pretty are they? Very.

This is a leather blazer. Is that not just the coolest item you've ever heard of in your life? I think so. Although I have to say this is a rather terrible picture of a girl who I'm sure is a beautiful model.  Anyway, back to the leather. WOW it's just so lovely. Babbling again. Sorry!!!

Alsooooo Jimmy Choo for H&M. Is it just me or is it not as exciting as I hoped. Maybe it's because I still can't afford ANYTHING, or maybe to do with the fact that a majority of the collection is just quite classic high-heels that I cant' quite appreciate but it's mostly just kind of.... meh.
Here are some of the exceptions:

Anyone else find titling blogs really hard?

Argh, so much to tell, so little time!!

Firstly, new favourite necklace EVER IN THE WORLD. As Ms Wong wrote on her blog, it's the perfect mix of Ugly Betty and Gossip Girl.... ahhh I love it so much! Ok, so it's £16.95 and from one of my favourite jewellery boutiques, Temporary Secretary.
Next up, I've been doing some research into new online shops (oh, the wonders of the internet) and the first one I have found, which is miles too expensive to be honest, is Bunny Hug. After searching for all of 30 seconds I found an item which I'm now completely in love with. This skeleton tee dress:

It's £65, and as I've never bought anything from there I can't comment on the quality but it does look pretty good. It also has a rolled hem which is my new favourite dress feature....
Also, go on Darimeya some such cute stuff but unfortunately the pictures aren't copyable which is annoying :( so you know, my favourites are the lace frill dress on the first page of dresses and the lace navy jumper under tops... check them out :)

let's waste time chasing cars...

I'm off to see Snow Patrol in, literally, 15 minutes so I'm currently in a typing frenzy.
Firstly, I'm going to show you all my outift, including truly awful hair which I apologise for in advance.

ahahaha, I've just noticed the little kitty in the corner, how cute :)
I'm wearing the dress from Zara which I bought aaaaaaages ago and blogged about here, my favourite (ok, only) floral tights and my trusty Primark shooboots. Hmmm no jewellery, may have to put some on :)
Oooooh, that links really well to the next item on my agenda, this BEAUTIFUL new necklace from Funky Junk Jewellery. I love, and I mean really LOVE, snowflake jewellery. It's probably linked to my insane obsession with all things festive and pretty and just general adoration of jewellery. But anways, you should check out the website, because there are some truly beautiful items on it, including these two lovelies. The snowflake necklace is £6.50 and the phone charm bracelet is £8.
